Recognition

Shaun is a consecutive Client Choice Award winner and finalist. The Client Choice Awards are judged purely on feedback from firms’ clients. Firms’ clients and referrers complete a rigorous feedback survey prepared by Beaton. Each respondent answers a series of questions to rate one or more firms’ brands and performance on a range of criteria including service quality, value for money, price and innovation.

Track Record

Shaun has prepared and submitted over 1,000 R&D Tax Incentive claims, representing well into the hundreds of millions of dollars in R&D expenditure claimed.

He has not had a claim he has prepared reduced or disallowed at a completed ATO or DISR compliance review, and has secured favourable outcomes across multiple advance findings, overseas findings, and private binding rulings with the ATO.

Shaun has also turned around adverse findings from DISR on R&D claims for large ASX-listed entities via the government's internal review process.
